Steve Gostlow

Chairman

Steve has over 25 years’ experience in the Australian waste management industry. Steve was Managing Director of Tox Free Solutions Ltd (Toxfree, ASX Code: TOX) for 16 years with overall responsibility for strategic growth, employees and operations. Steve has significant Board experience and expertise in waste treatment, waste treatment technologies and regulatory compliance.

Peter Goodwin

Director

Peter has over 25 years’ experience in Australia’s waste management industry, having held senior executive roles with leading organisations including Veolia Environmental Services (Australia), Toxfree Solutions (now part of Cleanaway) and before then 15 years with the BHP group. Peter has sat on numerous industry venture Boards, and more recently advised many independent waste management companies. Peter brings extensive experience in M&A, having completed more than 150 acquisitions over the past 20 years, and is a Fellow of the Governance Institute.

Joshua Derrington

Director

Joshua is the Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer with Alvia Asset Partners, and brings more than 16 years’ experience in business and finance across multiple industries and geographies and currently holds several non- executive Board roles, including WestRex Services. In 2019 Josh was nominated as a national finalist for Independent Advisor of the Year.

Kaitlin Tierney

Director

Kaitlin has more than 14 years’ experience in the waste industry, practicing and advising on WHS, environment, legal, people and industrial relations, compliance, systems insurance and governance. Kaitlin is currently the head of Corporate Governance for JJ Richards & Sons Pty Ltd and its associated entities.

Mark Scott

Director

Mark is a founder of WestRex Services – arguably the leading hazardous waste management business in Queensland. WestRex was established with the construction of its flagship waste processing, treatment and resource recovery facility at Jackson in Queensland’s Surat Basin. This was followed by the development of waste facilities located in Wacol, and Injune, Queensland. WestRex has plans to expand into other processing activities including open windrow composting of food and green waste.

Declan Sherman

Director

Declan has enjoyed a distinguished career in financial services and operational consulting, with over 20 years’ experience in managing and investing in companies globally. He is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ASX listed workforce management company, People Infrastructure (ASX: PPE), with extensive experience across multiple developed and emerging markets including Australia, United States (7 years) and Latin America (5 years) with organisations such as Macquarie Bank and Everlight Capital (New York).

John Richards

Non-Executive Director

John is a Director of JJ Richards & Sons Pty Ltd – the largest privately owned waste management business in Australia. It has been providing waste management services solutions throughout Australia and New Zealand since 1932. Today, JJ Richards & Sons has a fleet of more than 1800 vehicles and employs more than 2200 staff. It performs a wide variety of solid, hazardous and liquid waste collection services to more than 110,000 commercial customers and performs 2.5 million domestic garbage, recycling, sanitary and green waste collection services per week under contract for over 60 local authorities across Australasia.
